The cover art for Taylor Swift’s latest album features the singer wearing black panties and a revealing top from The Row, the luxury brand owned by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. This suggests that tortured poets have extravagant taste.

Featuring the scene, the 34-year-old Taylor was captured in a black-and-white shot by Beth Garrabrant for Tortured Poets Department, with a portion of her face cropped out. Joseph Cassell, the stylist for the “Karma” singer, posted a snapshot of the cover and credited The Row for the clothing.

Because underwear isn’t sold on The Row’s website, the 14-time Grammy winner probably had them created to order. Despite being sold out, a basic black tank top with spaghetti straps will still cost a client $420.

While winning the Best Pop Album prize at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4, the “Cruel Summer” singer revealed the shocking news that she is releasing a new album.

“As a way to express my gratitude to the fans, I am revealing something that I have been holding from you all for the past two years: my highly anticipated new album is set to be released on April 19th. “The Tortured Poets Department” is the name she gave it when she was accepting the award.

“Right now, backstage, I’m going to go and post the cover,” Taylor concluded. Many thanks; you have my undying affection. It garnered over 2 million likes within an hour of her post and reached 13.4 million by the following afternoon.

When Taylor appeared on a bed with her left hand covering her underpants and one arm across her chest, fans went absolutely bonkers for her new era. A section of her chest-length, wavy blonde hair fell to one side.

Fans went to Joseph’s page to comment on Taylor’s new hairstyle, even though she closed comments on her own post. Someone wrote, “It’s giving seductive era,” and another person added, “Absolutely gorgeous!” Whatever you do, our gal always turns heads.

“Our fast team works harder than the devil… “How perfect in The Row!” exclaimed one admirer, while “love your styling” was praised by another. A Swiftie remarked, “Not over exposed,” despite the fact that Taylor’s outfit revealed significantly more flesh than her album covers in the past. Very good.”

Some admirers speculated that Taylor’s all-black ensemble at the Grammys heralded a new color palette for the Tortured Poets Department period. At the occasion, the normally vibrant fashionista sported a long pair of black opera gloves and a breathtaking white couture Schiaparelli gown. Swift fans started guessing about her new color scheme the moment her album cover—a black and white photo—was released.
