Set the table for dinner and get the staff in order! Season 7 of the opulent television series Downton Abbey is apparently set to return the Crawley family eight years after the show’s last episode aired. A source exclusively tells Life & Style, “The production has been shrouded in secrecy and word is, the cast and crew have signed nondisclosures, but filming has begun.” “There’s no denying that they’re filming at Highclere Castle and that more actors have joined the cast.”

Business & Stories

Following the conclusion of the show, fans were treated to two theatrical productions: Downton Abbey: A New Era in 2022, which transported the action to the south of France and included a silent film crew at Downton, and Downton Abbey in 2019, which portrayed the family as hosts to the king and queen of England. The revival undoubtedly has much to do with the movies’ $287.4 million total box office receipts, but author Julian Fellowes—who also wrote Max’s The Gilded Age—has always maintained that nothing is impossible. He said last year, “I have written the last scene about six or seven times, and I have said goodbye to Downton so many times.” “I no longer make permanent statements about whether something is gone.”
